The plans on OkCredit’s own page

The pricing page at okcredit.com/pricing lists a Basic plan that contains ads and can send a transaction SMS from your SIM. Under paid plans it lists Unlimited Transactions at ₹30 (₹1 a day) for 30 days, still with ads, for unlimited daily ledger transactions. Ads Free++ is ₹75 (₹2.5 a day) for 30 days, and the page says it adds no ads, login on more than one device, normal and GST bills, a defaulters view, priority support, desktop access and stock items on transactions. Premium is ₹99 (₹3.3 a day) for 30 days and adds unlimited transaction SMS sent by OkCredit. The page says plan prices will remain stable and will not change in the future. That is OkCredit’s sentence. Prices on the internet still change, so look again before you pay.

The Play listing, package in.okcredit.merchant, is from PSI PHI Global Solutions Private Ltd. in Bengaluru. It says the app contains ads. It was updated on 23 October 2026. The heading showed 4.4 stars from 433K reviews. The ratings block showed 4.4 stars from 431K reviews. The marketing page okcredit.in/en, the same day, showed 4.6 and “1 crore+” downloads. Those two public numbers do not match. We quote both and we do not pick a third number of our own.

What the listing says the app does

OkCredit describes a ledger for money you will receive and money you will pay, with reports, offline use and cloud backup. It describes UPI payments inside the app, including showing a QR and settling the ledger when a payment arrives. It describes kacha, pakka, GST and non-GST bills, stock that moves when you sell, and automatic WhatsApp or SMS reminders, including bulk reminders. It names 11 languages: Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Bengali, Hinglish and English. Urdu is not in that list. It describes paperless loans up to ₹1,00,000 through named NBFC partners, with an APR range of 18–24% in the example section. Loan terms are theirs. Munshi does not lend.

Two privacy sentences sit side by side. The listing says “We do not share your data with anyone.” The Play data-safety form says the app may share financial info, app info and performance, and device or other IDs, and that it may collect location, personal info and four other types. We are not accusing anyone of a hidden sale. We are saying a shopkeeper should read both lines, because they are not the same sentence.

How Munshi charges, and what it refuses

Munshi, from DIGIT, has no ₹30 or ₹75 or ₹99 tier. It is free to download. A few small ads, marked Ad, pay for the servers. They are not shown while you add an entry, sign in, unlock the app or send a reminder. PDFs for this month and last month are free. A longer date range or an Excel file opens after a short ad you choose to watch, and the file is still made if no ad loads. That is the whole price story, also written in why Munshi is free.

The work Munshi does is customer and supplier credit, a daily cash book, bank accounts and expenses, in English or Urdu, with right-to-left statements. Offline entries sync later. Backups are on the phone and, if you connect it, in your Google Drive. Five businesses fit on one account. A reminder opens WhatsApp already written. You press Send. Nothing is sent automatically, and there is no “bulk automatic SMS” switch. Customer names, phone numbers and amounts are not shared with advertisers. There is no UPI button, no GST bill and no stock list. If your shop in India needs those, OkCredit’s listing is the one describing them. If your shop in Pakistan needs Urdu udhaar and a cash book, Munshi is the one written for that.

Try the free tier before you pay anyone

On OkCredit, use Basic for a week before you buy Ads Free++. On Munshi, use the normal app, because there is no upgrade to buy. In both, add real customers, turn on airplane mode, and send yourself a reminder so you can see whether it leaves on its own. The day-to-day method is in how to keep an udhaar ledger.

Frequently asked questions

Is OkCredit free?

OkCredit’s pricing page lists a Basic plan that contains ads and can send a transaction SMS from your phone’s SIM. Paid plans that day were ₹30 for 30 days (unlimited daily transactions, still with ads), ₹75 for 30 days (ad-free, more than one device, bills, stock and desktop), and ₹99 for 30 days (unlimited SMS sent by OkCredit). Their page says prices will stay stable. Check the page again before you pay.

Why do the ratings disagree?

in October 2026 the English Play listing showed 4.4 stars, with 433K reviews in the heading and 431K in the ratings block. The page okcredit.in/en showed 4.6 and “1 crore+” downloads. We did not try to reconcile them. For the Android app, the Play page is the number to trust, and it will move.

Does OkCredit send reminders by itself?

The Play listing says you can send automatic payment reminders by WhatsApp or SMS, and set up bulk reminders. Munshi does not send automatically. It opens WhatsApp with the message written, and you press Send.

Is OkCredit a good udhaar app in Pakistan?

It is built for India: UPI, GST bills and 11 Indian languages that do not include Urdu on the listing we read. A Pakistani shop can install it, but Munshi is the app that documents Urdu statements, a cash book and bank accounts for this market. Test airplane mode either way.

Does the ₹75 plan remove ads?

OkCredit’s pricing page says the Ads Free++ plan, ₹75 for 30 days, has no ads, and that it includes bills and stock. The ₹30 plan still says it contains ads. We did not buy a plan. A Play review complained about ads after paying. That is one user’s report, not proof of how every account behaves.
